I guess it’s karma or something like that. Remember in 2006 when many of us were hoping that Kansas City would be sold to a Philadelphia owner? The recent irresponsible comments of Jack Bell and the some faceless Toronto fan eventually found their way to a rumors site, and suddenly the very future of our team was called into question.

At the risk of turning into a caricature of Baghdad Bob, I want to assure you that from all outward signs, the economic downturn that has affected so many of us, and also hit one of our principle owner’s company iStar pretty hard, will not affect the progress of our city’s soccer team. Drive by Seaport Drive, work is underway on both the stadium grounds and on the off ramps.
