Coming at you like a vicious backheel, it’s the Almanack!

Thanks to the generous contributions from many of you, Chester’s Mayor Butler, the Chester Fire Department and the team, we managed to raise $2,501 (our future address!) and over 600 pounds of food for the Bernardine Center. And special thanks to all our volunteers that day that made it go so well. We’d also like to thank B & S Sandwich Shop and Phatso’s Bakery, both local Chester businesses that brought us some great food that day.

Besides just being a fantastic thing for the community, we also managed to get a lot of press out of it…which goes back to that being seen as good neighbors thing mentioned in previous ‘nacks.

Many thanks again to all of you that helped. Shirts are being sent out as we speak to those that ordered and could not attend groundbreaking (which was a huge success, by the way).

We’ve just launched sonsofben.tv as a one-stop shop for all your SoB video needs. We have a compilation of TV appearances, videos taken during events, many by SoB videographer Bill Magee (look for the groundbreaking one soon), and episodes of I’m on Setanta Sports (auch, that’s brilliant, that is!). Last time most attendees logged on with their real names, rather than MyPurpleUndercracker or whatever…it gave the chat a much more professional feel, which was nice.
