I paid my membership about 1 or 2 months ago and I just wanted the confirmation that it went through. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank-You.

The Jolly Franklin one is sold out. Are there any plans to get more?

Great game — loved being in the supporters’ section. Loved the win, despite two goals that were very close to being Own Goals.

But I had a couple of my students (5th and 6th grade girls, serious soccer players) sitting with family not far away. And when a DC player was injured and the SOBs began chanting “Cart HER off” I wondered what my girls were supposed to make of that. Girls always make more of a fuss about an injury? There’s something wrong with being a girl? Can’t a guy be scorned without being labeled female, as though there’s something intrinsically wrong with that? C’mon, guys — you don’t have to be total SOBs! What message will your daughters get from this? I’m not a rabid feminist, happy to be a Son of Ben, but not happy with that chant. Let’s find another way to offend injured opponents, get more women into the supporters section, and have more of our girls playing and appreciating soccer.
