While many of you have asked and we have worked diligently behind the scenes, we are proud to present details for our first home match date tailgating activities.

McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon at Citizens Bank Park will be the Sons of Ben HQ for match day 2 on April 10 vs DC United. While many of you expected the famous Sons of Ben tailgate, we are proud to present an opportunity to truly celebrate the return of professional outdoor soccer in Philadelphia for the first time in 30 years!

Why McFadden’s you may ask? At McFadden’s, you can expect a raucous buildup for our first home match. We have negotiated food and drink specials that you can enjoy with your SoB membership card. We will enjoy live music, share songs, meet new friends, families (under 21 welcome!) and members and then march to the stadium for the first time.

SOB members who have chosen to pick up their membership packages can stop by the SoB booth to complete their registration! All will be eligible for match day specials upon arrival as there will be no cover charge for those in attendance.

While many of you may have expected a more traditional tailgate, we will return to the familiar in the future. This date is a different animal. It is a party, it is a celebration, it is a welcoming and we want to share that with all members and non-members. We look forward to seeing you all in person, to support our team, for the first time. And more importantly, we look forward to hearing you in the stadium!
