It was an evening that was years in the making. We've all been to Tír na nÓg before for various occasions but this one was just a little different. This time, it was the Union. This time, it was the players. The first eleven. The Union Eleven.

Our first season in the stands is fast approaching and we are moving to a yearly paid membership structure. "Members" for the first three years of Sons of Ben simply got emails. This year, members get much more.

Help Kick Hunger 2009

For the third straight year the Sons of Ben are taking donations to help benefit the Bernadine Center in Chester, PA. Sons of Ben is now a 501c(3) company so your donations are tax deductible. Help us kick hunger in Chester by beating last year's donation of $2,501.

Despite what some sites are reporting, tickets are still available for our section, but with only 2,000 seats to start, and currently 4,930 people on our mailing list, you had better act fast.

We will be tailgating in the Jetro lot starting at 1. Whether or not you bought a package, you are welcome to hang out AND we ask that you wear a red shirt to show support for the US. When the Union begin play next year, we will all be in navy or Philadelphia blue, BUT when the US plays, we wear red, a color all US fans associate with support of our country.
