SoB @ the 2011 MLS SuperDraft: Bus Trip
It's almost here!!! The first BIG event for the 2011 season next week and we have now have some details to share for the bus trip down to Baltimore. Members who signed up for the bus trip should have received emails confirming your seat on the trip. For members who will be making the trek to the new home of DC United feel free to use this information as needed but please keep in mind that seating is limited at the draft and most of the supporters sections have been reserved for those on the buses.
Departure from PPL Park: The buses will be leaving PPL Park at 8:30am SHARP!!! We highly advise you to be there by 8am so that we can get you on the bus and we can leave on time!
Parking: We're still waiting on the details for this from the team and will relay the information as soon as we get it.
Arrival in Baltimore: 11am. Depending on the travel time the plan is to have the buses stop at Tir na Nog (Google Map) then have a march from there to the convention center.
The Draft: The draft starts at Noon and lasts for 3 rounds. Once it is complete the plan is to head back to Tir na Nog for a casual meet and greet with the team and, hopefully, our newest family members!
Departure from Baltimore: Buses will be departing from Tir na Nog at 7:30pm. Be sure not to miss your ride home.
We would HIGHLY encourage anyone who plans on meeting us down there and wants to participate in the march to follow us on Twitter as well as the follow this hashtag: #SoBDraftBus. We will try to post any on the fly updates there so that everyone has access to it on their mobile.
