The first weekend in June the Collegiate Rugby Championship is coming to PPL. Rugby sevens is a fast-paced version of rugby union, with short, exciting matches. There's a group stage and playoff rounds all in two days. Sevens is catching on strong in the US (our national team is quite competitive internationally) and will be an Olympic sport starting in 2016. Sixteen of the strongest collegiate sides in the country will be there, including Penn State and Temple.
We've worked out a special deal for our members for the event. $33 gets you a in-and-out ticket for the whole weekend, a voucher for a buy-one-get-one beer in the stadium, entrance to the block party, and a concert after the last match Saturday from the Dropkick Murphys.
