'Stache Bash 2014 Results

The 2014 Stache Bash has concluded and mostly everyone has gotten rid of their upper lip sweaters. But it was all for a great cause…or causes in this case. Thank you to everyone who bought a tailgate ticket, bought raffle tickets, bought a Stache Bash Shirt from Bark Tees, made a donation of a raffle prize, helped supported Team SoB by giving to the team or members through St. Baldrick’s, or just donated because you cared about the causes. Through our raffle alone, we raised $2,760! Our total dollars raised through the raffle, Bark Tees shirt sales and Tailgate proceeds totaled $3,864.73!!! This total will be split between the Jessie Miele Fund and St. Baldrick’s.

St. Baldrick’s and Fado had a head shaving event in Philadelphia the day following Stache Bash where we had several members represent for Team Sons of Ben – including the Union’s own Zach MacMath! If you were lucky enough to see it, Jeffrey Mitchell was featured on Fox 29’s morning show, having his head shaved for the cause. We want to thank the other members of Team SoB – Steven Dreibelbis, Scott McVeigh, Fran Ehly, Dante S, Erick Jusino and Kevin Leech. Collectively, Team SoB raised $6,178 for St. Baldrick’s – which was the second highest fundraising total by any group in Philadelphia!

We still have a few unclaimed prizes, if you have the winning ticket, please let Bill Gusler know and he will bring the prize to the next home match. If the prizes are not claimed, they will be donated for other raffles. If you won a road trip to NYRB or DCU, please email Kelly Delaney to discuss details, and if you won the Tailgate season pass, please email Ami O (you cannot just show up to the bus trip or tailgate, you must get registered first, thanks!)
