Love is Louder

In response to the offensive comments posted on Mike Magee's Twitter page from a member of the Sons of Ben:

We would first like to say that we find the recent remarks posted on Mike Magee's Twitter page from a Sons of Ben member to be offensive and appalling.  In no way would we ever support the disgusting and disrespectful comments made.  We would like to personally apologize to Mike Magee, the Chicago Fire, the Philadelphia Union, the MLS, Supporter Groups and anyone else unfortunate enough to have read them.  

Our Code of Conduct makes it clear that we will not tolerate behavior like this.  There often seems to be a perception that people have the ability to use social media as a tool to avoid consequences for their language.  Not here.  The Sons of Ben board will act swiftly to determine the next steps.  What is agreed upon is that we will not allow any individual to destroy the hard work our members have put in to make this organization great.

Again, we would like to personally apologize to Mike Magee and everyone else involved.  The individual who posted these comments are in no way shape or form reflective of what our core beliefs and values are.
