Our Brother, Eric Shertz

It is with great sadness that we inform you that long time Sons of Ben member and the Business Manager for Bearfight FC, Eric Shertz, has passed away.  

Our thoughts go out to his son Gabe and the rest of his family.  Eric has been has been sitting with us in The River End since the beginning.  Eric was instrumental in helping develop many of the things the Sons of Ben do today.  He was a great supporter, a great friend and an excellent father. Our Philadelphia Union family just got weaker today, only by coming together as one will get through this.  

Eric, you will be greatly missed.  RIP.

Funeral Information:

The funeral will be help at Hicks Home for Funerals (103 W Stockton St. Elkton, MD 21921) on Friday April 25th (Viewing: 10am-1pm/Service-Burial: 1pm) Donations can be made here: http://bit.ly/1ly2enL

Please wear a scarf (Philadelphia Union, Sons of Ben, Bearfight Brigade, USA etc...) to the funeral.

Wake Information:

The wake will be at Stoney's British Pub (3007 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803) on Saturday April 26th at 1pm.

Come be with us as we share memories and celebrate the life of our brother. It will be followed by the Montreal Away Union match at 4pm.
