'Stache Bash 2015
On Saturday, March 7th beginning at noon and ending at 3pm, we will kick off the 2015 season with the 5th Annual ‘Stache Bash. This year’s charitable organization that will benefit from the event will be UNIFIED SOCCER of PHILADELPHIA. Unified Soccer is a program by Special Olympics’ Unified Sports, for more information on the program, click here. It’s a very exciting time for the program as Chester has just signed on to be involved in the program. We hope to partner, sponsor and volunteer with these events throughout the season, so be on the lookout if you would like to be involved.

Equipment Drive – This year, in addition to raising money for the charity, we have decided to hold a soccer equipment drive as well. We will be accepting official soccer balls, cleats, jerseys, shorts, soccer socks, shin guards, cones, whistles, etc. Raffle tickets will be given out for equipment donated as well.
Raffle - This year’s annual home opener festivities will once again include a raffle of some awesome, one of a kind collectibles, team signed merchandise, gift cards and baskets of libations. We will keep the raffle ticket prices the same (1 for $2; 3 for $5; 7 for $10; arm’s length for $20; wingspan $40). Remember to bring cash or your check book!
Shirts - T-shirts have been placed for preorder so make sure you order yours by February 20th! Click here to order your shirt today before it’s too late. These will be limited shirts and once they’re ordered, that’s it. All proceeds from the shirt sales will go to Unified Soccer. FYI…we’re working on something that will allow you to add your own style of mustache to your shirt at the tailgate!
Pong Tournament – We will hold a 16 team (2 players per team) single elimination oversized pong tournament with a $10 buy in per team. You must sign up before the tailgate (email or message Bill Gusler). Once the bracket is full, that’s it. Prize for the winner is TBD.
Mustache Contest: 2015 SoB King of ‘Stache Bash - We are bringing back the mustache contest! Sorry ladies…If you plan on gracing us with a majestic upper lip sweater on March 7th and would like to enter this contest, please let Bill Gusler know as soon as possible. We will have space for 10-15 contestants, because there’s a twist for this year. People can vote on their favorite ‘stache by donating money into the contestant’s box/jar. Voting will end prior to the end of tailgate and the winner announced at the end. Winner will not only receive bragging rights for the year, but they will also take home the first official “King of ‘Stache Bash” trophy.
