Membership Cards

Cornhole Tournament
We will be hosting a Cornhole Tournament at our upcoming tailgates to benefit the William Trippley Youth Development Foundation! The doubles tournament will be on July 7th and the entry fee is $20 per couple. The singles tournament will be on July 21st with an entry fee of $10 per person. Winners of each tournament will receive 50% of the proceeds raised. If you're interested in signing up please email krystal.kane@sonsofben.com

I’m Krystal, and I’m the Philanthropy Director for the Sons of Ben! I love spearheading the charitable initiatives of the SoB, which are a critical part of our core mission and have been since our founding. It’s really gratifying to see the same people standing up and screaming at every Union match putting as much passion and intensity into supporting really amazing organizations in the Delaware Valley, especially in Chester, our home away from home. Our commitment to being part of the community in Chester is really special, and I love being a part of it.
I’ve had season tickets in Section 139 for the past several years, and had been a dues-paying member of the Sons of Ben, but I wanted to do more and get involved in the club. I had been wanting to get more involved for a while, but wasn’t sure how to make it happen. When I saw that elections were open for the Philanthropy Director position, I knew that it was time to step up. For my day job, I manage pro bono at a large law firm, and I am a member of volunteer and fundraising committees for several local nonprofits. I love working with charitable organizations, especially in fundraising and introducing new people to great organizations. I knew that if I got elected, I could bring my professional charitable background to the SoB, and have a really, really great time while doing it.
On the last day to do so, after mulling it over for weeks, I took a leap and hit “send” on an email to Tim Sosar, our Vice President, to announce my intent to run for the open position. I’m so, so glad that I took the leap! I’m having a ton of fun, working with great people to support the Sons of Ben and advance our charitable causes. I’ve dragged my husband and some of my friends along for the ride, and we all regret not stepping up sooner.
If you’re newer to the club, come to one of our tailgates and introduce yourself! We’d love to get more SoBs involved in what we do. It’s honestly as easy as shooting one of us an email! I’m going to need volunteers to help out at our upcoming cornhole tournament and Pints Fur Pets, so if you’ve been considering getting involved, there’s no time like the present!

2018 Membership Renewal
It's time to renew your Sons of Ben membership! 2018 memberships are now available for $30 to renew and $35 for new members. Please note, memberships did not automatically renew with your season tickets this year! You must purchase them separately. Pints Fur Pets
The Sons of Ben will host Pints Fur Pets, our fundraising event to benefit Animal Care and Control Team Philadelphia (ACCT Philly) and the Providence Animal Center (formerly known as the Delaware County SPCA) on Sunday, 8/19 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Field House in Philadelphia. This is an amazing event where Philadelphia Union players will come out to serve as guest bartenders and support us while we support local animal welfare organizations. Raffle and Drink specials - come show your support.
