Dawn McCourt

My name is Dawn McCourt and I am running for Member at Large. I’ve been a season ticket member and SOB member for four years. On game day you can find me cheering in Section 137 in the first row behind the drums and next to the tunnel.

I’ve been in the soccer world since my son started playing at 3 years old through college. My husband coached him through high school while I ran the team’s fundraising and all of that behind the scenes stuff. My son grew up to become a UEFA B licensed coach and was a Union Youth coach and a Sporting Delaware MLS Next coach. We’ve traveled to Ireland and England with his teams, toured Old Trafford and Wembley, and were able to see a few third tier teams play.

I currently live in Vineland, NJ and I work for Atlantic City Electric (Exelon) as a Work Week Manager, which involves non-stop organization of large projects, and is a skill that is useful for the SOB.

I was a marathon runner and always ran races for charity. I’ve raised thousands of dollars utilizing multiple types of fundraisers by myself. Pancake breakfasts, beef and beers, nightclub outings, etc. I’m organized and feel this skill is useful in helping out with the SOB’s charity and other events.
